Specifically, Restaurants Care is a program that offers financial assistance for basic living expenses to our California restaurant families in need. Gaviña continues to partner with Restaurants Care as a Restaurants Care Champion in addition to our sustainability efforts.
Restaurants Care
Gaviña Gourmet Coffee continues strengthening California’s relief fund for food and beverage workers by continuing our partnership with Restaurants Care. Restaurants Care’s mission is to support our restaurant families in need by offering financial assistance for basic living expenses as people recover from injury, illness, family death, or unseen hardship. They invest in the workforce, the heart of the community, and restaurant workers in their time of need. As of September 2024, the program granted over $20,000 to food and beverage workers in crisis.

Gavińa and other participating businesses continue to make a significant difference in the lives of individuals and families, ensuring they have access to necessities like food, housing, and healthcare.

We provide sustainable farming assistance, community infrastructure development, education, and healthcare programs to help our farmers become more self-reliant.
Sustainable Sourcing
We work with partners to procure sustainably grown and ethically traded coffee and offer our customers premium coffee certified as Rainforest Alliance, Fair Trade USA, or USDA Organic.
Environmental Sustainability
We focus on six core areas to continually improve our operational efficiencies and minimize our business’s environmental impact. These areas include: Energy, Water, Waste, Transportation, Pollution Prevention, and Climate Protection.
Social Stewardship
We support over 300 charities and organizations globally and locally to increase community access to healthcare and educational programs. We also encourage young people to be future leaders in sustainability. We hope to create a more promising future for the next generations.
About Gaviña
Apart from partnering with businesses in foodservice, offices, healthcare, hospitality, and colleges/universities, Gaviña prioritizes sustainability in more ways than one. We help improve the livelihood of small coffee farms, promote a long-term supply of sustainable coffee, offer corporate leadership to preserve our environment, respect people, and give back to our community.
